Okay, I have a BSA dispersal no.1 mk3 (1942) rifle that has had the stock powerwashed it looks like. It's a lighter color stock. It needs a lot of moisturizing. What should I use and how should I got about it?

buttstock won't be needed, but it will need some light sanding and a lot of oil. A bunch of these dispersals came out like this for some reason. It's going to take a lot of oil to bring it where it should be.
