WWII M1 Garands were built by Springfield Armory and Winchester. Post War built M1 Garands were built by Springfield Armory, Harrington & Richardson and International Harvestor.

A WWII Springfield will not have a serial number that is any higher than the 3 million range. When they restarted production in 1952, they began with 4 million.

Hey fellas, I took it out shooting yesterday.  What a pleasure.  As a previous post said "blam blam blam blam blam blam blam blam ting".  Great day at the range tempture around 70, light wind, nice people around.

1. Shot metal plates with RRA ar-15 at 200, 300, 400 yards.
2. A guy shooting talked us into shooting his 50 cal at 600 yards.
3. Shot M1 garand at 200 yards.

I need repeat several times to get my charma back in aline.
