Japanese man would have some stories to tell...

Maybe not directly in keeping with topics here but nontheless, this guy had to be questioning the run of luck he was having that week in August, 1945:

His luck must be pretty good. He survived two bombs and he is now 93. Not too bad.

:D Ah, millman, I can tell you are a glass half full, as opposed to half empty kind of guy.  Finding the bright spot of being in two atom bomb blasts.....  Incredible: what are the odds of surviving one, let alone two, and within 3 days of one another?  To say nothing of then living for 63 years after that double whammy.  I'd love to hear his version of the story.

Right at no 1 on the list of things I never want to experience in person would be a nuclear mushroom cloud, never mind two.  That man has lived what I have only known during my worst nighmares, lucky to survive don't come close to describing that, that would be like winning the big lotto twice in the same week.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

Wow.

I guess you could say that it was really bad luck to have been nuked twice.

But, you could also say that it was really good luck to have survived both times. Amazing.
